"Don't be afraid to give your best to what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves." -Dale Carnegie Welcome to September's "Mysteries of the Mind" monthly newsletter! I have been working more than I ever have before. And I want to offer you what I believe to be the 12 key secrets of my success! 1) Wake up every day and get out of the house. 2) Eat breakfast (and meals regularly thereafter) 3) Spend 8 hours a day “actively” engaged in achieving your goals. 4) Constantly define and refine who you are and what you are striving for. 5) Let others know what you are doing, achieving and pursuing 6) Make kind and relationship building decisions. 7) Find 30 minutes a day to do absolutely nothing. 8) Make time for hobbies and creative endeavors. 9) Make time for friends, family and community 10) Make a list of the things that you want to accomplish tomorrow 11) Think about the things you are grateful for in the last 14-16 hours. 12) Sleep In the next few newsletters I will expound on some of these topics. Please e-mail me your success lists! I am passionate about motivation and working styles and excited to chat with you more about this. If you missed my recent Magic Magazine article and would like to read the full story, you can now download the 4-page interview at: Magic Magazine In other news, I have been working in Santa Monica with a theme park design and development group to assist in designing interactive exhibits for the Las Vegas Springs Preserve. My focus has been working closely with the creative team to help create interactive games that both entertain and educate the community about environmental issues. To see some of the work that has been done so far, please visit: Springs Preserve Finally, I would love to meet you in person! Every day is made richer when looking for ways to capture small pleasures and build our own bliss on earth. One of the best ways I achieve this is through helping teach the tools that empower people to become better communicators and more empathetic presenters. Let’s chat about how we can bring the “Mysteries of the Mind“ workshop and energizing show to your local corporations, universities and organizations soon. High-Speed Robot Hand This is a wonderful video that my friend Marco Tempest shared with me showing the cutting edge of robotic science and engineering. A High-speed robot hand performs impressive acts of dexterity and skillful manipulation. Fun and scary at the same time! Enjoy! "A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm." (The first law of robotics) -Isaac Asimov |
